What you will learn and contribute to

  • You\'ll become a problem solver.
  • Employee will be required to debug and resolve customer issues after they\xe2\x80\x99ve been escalated by the 2nd level support organizations.
  • Employee will be responsible for debugging and resolving complicated product problems by applying both established procedures and creative alternatives.
  • Also, this position is expected to play a role as interfaces to R&D/4LS, account teams, business units and customers for technical consultation and customer support concerns and feature requests.
  • Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)
Your skills and experience

You must have:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience. Candidates with Bachelor\xc2\xb4s in CS, EE, will be more relevant. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 working experience in the area of packet core
  • Packet core relevant 3GPP knowledge is required, such as network architecture, network elements and functions, call flows, etc.
  • Wide Network protocol knowledge is required, such as IPv4/IPv6, TCP/UDP, Diameter,S1AP, NGAP, GTP, GTPv2, , DNS, NTP, SNMP, SCTP, SSH, TLS, FTP, HTTP/HTTP2, etc.
  • Experience and knowledge of Linux and programming languages (preferably scripting languages such as TCL, Python, Perl, shell)
  • Knowledge (and experience if possible) of NFV (Network Function Virtualization), SDN, Virtualized Switching products and related virtualization technologies (KVM/QEMU, Xen, Vmware ESXi) is a big plus.
  • Experience in IP networking and packet core testing and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with networking test tools (Spirent, IPerf, Wireshark, etc).
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Proven aptitude for methodical problem solving, good communication skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to work well in a close-knit team.
  • Quick learner, self-starter
