The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various CNC Machining Centres including Fanuc controls, Heidenhain, together with trouble shooting a wide variety of materials.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVE 4-YEAR MILLING EXPERIENCE OF METAL PRECISION PARTS

Skilled operator of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC Machining Centres with Fanuc controls/ Heidenhain. Ability to perform complete set-ups with appropriate cutting tool selection. Thorough understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings and use of precision measuring instruments. Experience managing small team in production machining environment an asset. Demonstrates a high level of mechanical aptitude and skill when manual handling machine parts. Knowledgeable in the use of precision measuring instruments. Trouble shooting abilities for work with a wide variety of materials. Log all work timelines and tasks in Epicor (ERP). Must be quality oriented with a strong attention to detail. Maintain positive working relationships when interacting with other plant personnel. Adheres to and maintains safe work practices, including WHMIS requirements. Adept at reading/understanding Production Sheets for completion of accurate parts. Perform other duties as assigned.

This vacant role requires fluency in English (read, write and speak) with 5-8 years Precision Machining Shop experience and a minimum of 4-years on Milling Machines. CNC Certification preferred.
