Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in CNC programming, and experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications. Candidates should possess excellent blueprint reading skills and familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Duties



Program, set up, and operate CNC machines including CNC lathes and milling machines using Fanuc controls. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to ensure accurate production. Use precision measuring tools such as calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Select appropriate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for machining tasks. Assist with assembly processes when required, ensuring parts meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety protocols. Support continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, particularly with Fanuc controls. Strong mechanical knowledge including machining, welding, and use of hand tools. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Familiarity with machining tools including calipers, CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, power tools, and forklift operation is preferred. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.43-$30.00 per hour
