Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-precision components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining processes, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with CAD/CAM software. The CNC Programmer will play a vital role in ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities



Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for various machines including CNC lathe, CNC milling machine, and CNC machining centers using Fanuc controls. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models created in SolidWorks or other CAD software to generate accurate machining instructions. Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and calibration for each job. Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to verify part dimensions and quality. Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure parts meet design requirements. Perform basic troubleshooting on CNC equipment and make necessary adjustments to maintain production flow. Maintain documentation of programs, setups, and process improvements for future reference. Collaborate with manufacturing teams on lean manufacturing initiatives, assembly processes, and quality control procedures. Assist in training team members on CNC programming standards and machine operation best practices.

Requirements



Proven experience with CNC programming, particularly with Fanuc controls. Mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machining processes including machining techniques for CNC lathe and milling machines. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and general blueprint reading skills. Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations in machining operations. Familiarity with manufacturing environments, including use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, forklifts, and calipers. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote efficiency and waste reduction. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret specifications for production accuracy. Experience with assembly processes is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality output. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.14-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
