CNC Programmer and Setup Operator

to join our team in Concord.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who excels in high-precision environments and is ready to start immediately. This is a full-time position offering a competitive wage and a consistent daytime schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Programming & Setup:

Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce complex parts with precision.

Technical Analysis:

Study blueprints, engineering drawings, and sample parts to determine optimal machining sequences and dimensions.

Precision Machining:

Maintain tight tolerances--often within+/- 0.001$ inches.

Quality Control:

Utilize micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments to verify dimensions and ensure part integrity.

Problem Solving:

Proactively identify potential machining issues or equipment malfunctions before they impact production.

Efficiency:

Manage workflows to meet strict production deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications & Skills

Mastercam:

Extensive experience with recent versions of Mastercam is

required

.

CNC Experience:

5+ years of experience in CNC Programming and Operation (Preferred).

Equipment:

Proven experience operating

HAAS

and

MAZAK

3/4-axis CNC Mills.

Blueprint Reading:

Strong ability to interpret complex technical drawings (3+ years preferred).

Math Aptitude:

Strong mathematical skills for calculating dimensions and tolerances.

Manual Machining:

Experience with Conventional Mills is a significant asset.

Software:

Proficiency in

SolidWorks

is preferred, though we are willing to train the right candidate.
