Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and experience in operating CNC machinery, including CNC lathes and milling machines. This role requires proficiency in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and the use of various hand tools and power tools. The CNC Operator will be responsible for producing high-quality components while adhering to safety standards and lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and SolidWorks files to understand project requirements. Program CNC equipment using Fanuc controls to ensure accurate machining processes. Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using calipers and other measuring tools to maintain quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members in assembly tasks and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency. Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Skills

Proficient in CNC programming, with experience using Fanuc controls. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machining equipment. Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and blueprint reading techniques. Experience with machining processes, including assembly, welding, and lean manufacturing practices. Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
