Overview

We are seeking a

skilled and detail-oriented Stone CNC Operator

to join our countertop fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating

CNC machines for stone materials

such as granite, quartz, and marble. This role involves precision cutting, shaping, and finishing stone components according to digital templates and specifications. The successful candidate will take pride in craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

Set up, program, and operate

CNC bridge saws, routers, or waterjet machines

to cut and shape stone slabs. Review

drawings, templates, or CAD files

to ensure precise measurements and cutting paths. Inspect materials before and after cutting for accuracy, quality, and finish. Perform

basic machine maintenance

and troubleshoot operational issues. Use

measuring tools and gauges

to verify dimensions and tolerances. Handle and move heavy stone materials using

cranes, lifts, or vacuum tools

safely. Maintain a

clean, organized, and safe

work environment at all times. Work closely with designers, templaters, and installers to ensure project accuracy and deadlines. Follow all

company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Proven experience as a

CNC Operator

,

Stone Fabricator

, or in a related stone or manufacturing environment. Knowledge of

stone materials

(granite, quartz, marble) and

fabrication processes

. Familiarity with

CAD/CAM software

(e.g., AlphaCAM, Fusion 360, or similar). Ability to

read blueprints, shop drawings, or digital templates

. Strong

attention to detail

and

commitment to quality workmanship

. Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to operate

forklifts, cranes, or material handling equipment

safely. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Physical ability to lift and maneuver stone slabs safely (with assistance/tools provided).
