CNC Operator

Position Details

Shift:

Rotating Days and Afternoons Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

Job Type:

Full-time, Permanent

Additional Pay:

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of CNC operating experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and setup sheets Familiarity with

FCS workholding systems

is required Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills Familiarity with machine monitoring systems like

InFocus

(preferred but not required; training provided) Ability to update schedules and communicate changes effectively

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications Utilize

FCS workholding systems

for efficient and precise machining Execute machining operations based on programs created by our programming team using

PowerMill

Monitor machine operations to ensure maximum uptime using

InFocus machine monitoring

Log downtime reasons accurately in the

InFocus system

to optimize performance Read and follow setup sheets to ensure proper machine configurations Update production schedules as needed and communicate changes to the team Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are in optimal working condition Conduct quality checks on completed parts using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
