We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring precision and quality in the production of parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and quality control measures. The CNC Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain efficient production workflows and uphold safety standards.
Duties
Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to produce high-quality components.
Program and set up CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers.
Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine specifications for machining operations.
Conduct quality control inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any operational issues that arise.
Collaborate with team members during assembly processes and assist in packaging finished products for shipment.
Utilize hand tools and basic math skills to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
Proficient in CNC programming and operation, with experience in machining processes.
Familiarity with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers, and SolidWorks software is preferred.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various manufacturing equipment including forklifts.
Experience in welding, assembly, and quality control practices within a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Ability to read blueprints effectively and apply mathematical concepts to solve problems related to machining tasks.
