AppleOne is currently hiring for CNC Operators in Burlington, ON.
Shifts: Days and Afternoons available
$22/hr to start *plus 4% vacation pay
Preferably looking for a candidate who has experience operating a CNC machine in a woodworking environment but will take strong CNC Machine Operator candidates.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC machinery for production to established production rates
- Operate manual machines as required
- Use measuring instruments to maintain required machine tolerances
- Ability to hold required tolerances through machine offsets, tooling replacement including inserts
- Complete other production related tasks as directed by supervisor
- Package and apply proper identification of machined parts
- Follow standard work practice-method sheet and instructions
- Report to the supervisor any damages or malfunction of the equipment and tools
- Wear appropriate safety equipment
- Adhere to company policies and safety rules
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
- Ability to read blueprints / drawings and follow engineering instructions
- Ability to use various types of measuring equipment
- Ability to use various types of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Good verbal and written communication skills
