Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, proficiency in CNC programming, and experience operating CNC lathes and milling machines. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to produce precision parts according to specifications. Candidates should possess excellent blueprint reading skills and familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on quality and efficiency, utilizing lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities



Set up and operate CNC machines including CNC lathe and CNC milling machines using Fanuc controls Develop and modify CNC programs based on engineering drawings and specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models for manufacturing processes Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to ensure part accuracy Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues as they arise Use basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances Assist with assembly, welding, or other manufacturing tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards Follow lean manufacturing practices to optimize production efficiency

Experience



Proven experience operating CNC machinery, particularly CNC lathe and CNC milling machines Strong mechanical knowledge with understanding of machining processes and tooling Proficiency in CNC programming languages, especially Fanuc controls Familiarity with SolidWorks, CAD software, and blueprint reading techniques Experience with hand tools, power tools, forklift operation, welding, and basic math skills for machining applications Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus Prior experience in manufacturing environments preferred 2-3 years

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.43-$37.60 per hour
