Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts to tight tolerances. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) according to specifications. Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools. Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules. Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production and quality.
Education
Certificate or diploma in Machining/Manufacturing Technology (preferred). Red Seal Machinist certification or equivalent (asset, but not required).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
