Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in a

part-time, flexible role

. This position involves operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and other manufacturing methods to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate has machine shop experience, can read blueprints, and is proficient in using measuring tools such as micrometers, height gauges, and vernier calipers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for flexible hours in a hands-on machining environment.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery including milling machines, lathes, and manual machines to produce precision components. Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from CNC machines throughout the shift Perform continuous part handling, including lifting, positioning, and securing components for machining Monitor machine operation to ensure consistent quality and cycle efficiency Inspect parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify specifications Maintain a steady production flow by efficiently managing part changeovers Deburr, clean, and package finished parts as required Communicate with supervisors regarding production issues, tool wear, or quality concerns Keep work area clean and organized in accordance with shop standards

Requirements

Previous machine shop experience preferred Experience operating CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes Proficient in the use of measuring tools, including micrometers, height gauges, and vernier calipers Ability to safely load and unload parts repeatedly during production Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to follow safety procedures and shop standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks

Reliable attendance and ability to work flexible, part-time hours

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 36 per week
