We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining and programming, with hands-on experience operating various CNC equipment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The CNC Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production and adherence to specifications.
Duties
Operate CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and press brake machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.
Program and set up CNC machines using Fanuc controls and other programmable logic controllers.
Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining requirements.
Conduct quality control inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with team members in the assembly process, ensuring all components fit together correctly.
Utilize hand tools for adjustments and minor repairs as needed.
Package finished products for shipment while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in CNC programming and operation of CNC milling machines and lathes.
Familiarity with welding processes is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks is preferred.
Ability to read blueprints accurately and understand technical drawings.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks.
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control standards.
