to join our production team.

Position Overview:

The CNC Operator will play a key role in the production of high-precision components used in our advanced woodworking tools. This position involves setting up, loading, and unloading parts, performing quality checks, and maintaining CNC machines and tooling to ensure consistent, top-quality results.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to learning and producing to exact specifications in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and change over machined parts on CNC mills and lathes Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, vernier scales, depth gauges) Conduct quality control checks to ensure all finished parts meet required tolerances and specifications Perform routine machine maintenance (e.g., refill coolant, top up lubricants, complete maintenance logs) Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work efficiently both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

Shift Schedule:

This position operates on a rotating shift schedule:

Days:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)

Afternoons:

3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts, Fridays off)

Weekend Overtime:

Available Saturdays 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience operating CNC mills and lathes (preferred but not required - training provided) Experience using precision measuring devices Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent Forklift license considered an asset Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality

CNC Milling and Programming CNC Operations Machine Operations
