Responsibilities & Duties:
Change over machined parts on mills and lathes
Verify Dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., Depth Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier, Calipers)
Maintaining quality control checks on all finished parts (specific attention to detail)
Maintain a clean work environment
Machine maintenance (refill coolant, top up lubricants, fill out proper worksheets)
Able to work efficiently on your own as well as a in a group
Shifts (based off two week days followed by two weeks afternoons)
Days - 7am till 3:30pm Monday to Friday
Afternoon - 3:30pm till 2:00am Monday to Thursday (10 hour work days with Fridays off)
Weekend overtime available - Saturdays 7am till 3:30pm
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience using CNC Mills and Lathes
Experience using measuring devices
Minimum Grade 12 Education or equivalent
Forklift License an asset
