We are hiring an

CNC Machine Operator (Waterjet Cutting)

to join our team as soon as possible. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in setting up, operating, and maintaining

waterjet cutting equipment

to produce precision parts according to work orders, blueprints, and customer specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards. This is a full-time position offering $22 per hour. Shift timings are flexible.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust, and operate

waterjet cutting machines

to perform precision cutting operations. Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to determine cutting requirements. Properly load and secure materials onto the cutting bed using appropriate handling equipment; lift materials up to 50 lbs as required. Monitor cutting operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and quality. Inspect and assess finished parts for quality, dimensions, and tolerances; make adjustments as necessary. Remove completed parts and prepare them for delivery or the next stage of production. Complete all necessary documentation, including production reports, quality checklists, and work orders. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of

waterjet equipment

to ensure optimal operation. Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications

Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and water. Previous experience

operating waterjet

or CNC cutting machinery preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. Basic computer and measurement skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
