CNC Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines, ensuring precision in the production of parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC programming, blueprint reading, and quality control measures to maintain high standards of production.

Duties

Operate and monitor CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Program CNC machines using HAAS controls and other programmable logic controllers as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Conduct quality control checks using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Utilize hand tools and basic math skills for assembly and packaging tasks as required. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in CNC machining, including familiarity with CNC programming, CAD software, SolidWorks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate forklifts safely is preferred. Experience in CNC operation is a plus, along with a background in manufacturing or warehouse environments. Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform quality control inspections effectively. Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
