CNC Programmer/CAD Technician

Overview

Perth Precision Machining and Manufacturing seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming CNC machines, particularly with experience in CNC Lathe machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CNC programs for CNC Lathes using GibbsCam. Provides drawings and details in 3D CAD particularly with experience with Solid Edge. Read and interpret blueprints and related technical data to determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, control settings and machining methods and sequences. Collaborate with engineers and production staff to improve processes and product quality. Fabricate parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency in operating CNC Lathe machines. Strong understanding of basic math skills for measurements and calculations.. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
