Hunter Wire is a custom manufacturer of metal and steel wire products. Our capabilities include wire forming, tube and sheet metal fabrication, contract welding and assembly, iron work, metal finishing and polishing, and powder coating.

Originally founded in 1945 as a small two-man operation that made items such as sock dryers and trap springs. Today, we produce parts for industry leading companies in various industries around the world.

Responsibilities: - Operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and form metal materials according to specifications - Set up and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate and precise cuts - Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards - Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet customer requirements - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times Experience: - Previous experience operating laser cutting machines preferred - Familiarity with forklift operation and basic machining principles - Ability to perform basic math calculations and read blueprints - Knowledge of assembly and fabrication techniques - Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments - Experience with CNC machines, lathes, and cranes is a plus This position requires attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
