Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC laser cutting and a strong understanding of various machining processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. The Laser Operator will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the production process.

Duties

Operate CNC laser cutting machines with precision and efficiency. Perform CNC programming and set up machinery for production runs. Conduct quality inspections on finished products to ensure adherence to specifications. Utilize hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, and CNC milling machines as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings for accurate manufacturing. Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow in the production area. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts. Assist in assembly tasks as required, ensuring all components fit together correctly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Proven experience in manufacturing with a focus on CNC laser cutting. Familiarity with additional machining processes such as plasma cutting, welding, and assembly is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use calipers and other measuring tools effectively. Experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
