Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC laser cutting and programming, as well as experience with various machining processes. This role is essential for ensuring the precision and quality of our products, contributing to our commitment to excellence in manufacturing.

Duties

Operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Perform CNC programming for laser cutting operations, ensuring optimal settings for material types and thicknesses. Utilize hand tools and machinery such as press brake machines, CNC lathes, and CNC milling machines for fabrication tasks. Conduct quality inspections of finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to blueprints and specifications. Collaborate with team members in assembly processes, ensuring all components fit together accurately. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC laser cutting, with a strong understanding of CNC programming. Familiarity with plasma cutting, welding, and other manufacturing processes is preferred. Proficient in blueprint reading and mechanical knowledge to interpret technical drawings accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality inspection standards. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
