Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced CNC Forming Operator (Press Brakes) to operate and maintain our press brake machines to produce precision metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steel fabrication, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Operate CNC Press Brakes:

Set up, program, and operate CNC press brakes to form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet dimensional tolerances and quality standards using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).

Tooling Setup:

Select and install appropriate tooling for forming operations, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.

Material Handling:

Safely handle raw materials and finished parts, including loading and unloading materials from the press brake.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines and report any mechanical issues to the maintenance team.

Blueprint Reading:

Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders to ensure accurate production.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Collaboration:

Work closely with team members, including welders, machinists, and supervisors, to ensure efficient production workflows.

Qualifications

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience operating CNC press brakes in a manufacturing or steel fabrication environment.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in programming and operating CNC press brakes (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, or similar).

Blueprint Reading:

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Precision Measurement:

Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a relevant trade apprenticeship or certification is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Certifications:

Forklift or crane operation certification is a plus.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
