Cnc Beam Saw Operator
Job Description
You will be required to cut plywood on a computerized beam saw. Previous experience with a beam saw is an asset. Every day, you will be given a list of materials to be cut, and you will program the beam saw and make accurate cuts with minimum waste. Great math skills are needed, as you may be converting fractions to decimals and performing on-the-fly calculations to use materials efficiently. You will also be in charge of machine maintenance. You must be able to lift 75 lbs easily. Training on other machines and areas in our shop is also possible. Apprenticeship training is available. Forklift and first aid is an asset and will be required within 3 months of starting. Bonuses are paid for performance and piecework rates are available for experienced operators. We work a 4 day work week Monday to Thursday.
