Job Description


Our client, a major oil and gas producer, is looking for a CMMS Specialist. This is a 1 year contract position based in Calgary, AB, working a 5/2 schedule. The successful candidate will report to the Reliability Team Lead, supporting their 2 major assets, and will work as a part of an integrated team to develop, manage, maintain, influence, and execute specific tasks to sustain and improve the performance of the facilities\' assets.

The goals are to ensure that the predictive maintenance programs excel at asset management, to achieve optimal usage of M&R tools/resources, and to ensure that our optimization efforts are delivering on the outcomes stablished in our strategic plans.

Accountabilities and End Results:

  • Maintenance & Reliability Objectives:
- Provide support for Execution of MCR\'s

- Support maintaining the master data for Bill of Materials

- Ensure CMMS - Asset Master Data Remains Up to Date

- Support SAP Data Accuracy Initiatives

- PM Optimization to increase productivity and achieve optimal use of personnel
  • Measurable End Results & Outcomes:
- CMMS Master Data is accurate and up to date

- MCRs backlog is in a managed state

- Accurate spares in stock to ensure efficient execution of maintenance and operation activities

Primary Functions:
  • Promote, support, and adhere to the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) management system.
  • Ensure HSE issues are given priority consideration by complying with all corporate and operating procedures to align with corporate safety standards and expectations.
  • Maintains safe work environment by following codes, standards, legal and company regulations.
  • Update/Create Maintenance Plan and Maintenance Items
  • Update/Create Maintenance Task List (Task, Documents, and maintenance frequency\'s, Measurement documents, measurements points)
  • Update/Create Functional Location/Equipment BOM\'s
  • Update Maintenance Work Orders and Notifications
  • Update/Create Maintenance Procedures as Requested
  • Update/Create Work Centres
Required Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of S4 SAP PM module and interfaces with others (FI,CO,MM,PS and DMS)
  • SAP WinShuttle mass upload experience
  • Ability to work with Multidiscipline & cross functional teams
  • Interpretation of critical documents such as P&IDs, Datasheets, Electrical Drawings, C&E
  • Excellent time management and work prioritization skills
  • Strong knowledge in Excel
  • Experience with:
o Managing and administrating databases

o Developing critical documents such as maintenance programs and procedures

o SAP LSMW experience
  • Understands RCM based PPM programs that are designed around failure mode analysis and the inter-relationships with the SAP PM module
  • Self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and multi-task
  • Ability to adapt to, and adopt new techniques and technologies
Qualifications:
  • Completion of a Technical Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong Maintenance & Reliability knowledge
  • Solid understanding of the management of Maintenance Change Request and technologies as applied to Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation equipment.
  • 5+ years of SAP PM Experience
  • Solid skills and experience on SAP Plant Maintenance Plans Development
  • 5+ years of Oil & Gas Industry experience or industrial plant experience in Maintenance & Reliability
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industrial safe work practices and standards
  • Team player requiring minimal supervision, with ability to draw on the expertise and knowledge of the team to deliver the best solutions
  • Effective communicator, with excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
