We are hiring a
Quality Control Inspector
to join our precision manufacturing team. You will be responsible for inspecting high-precision parts usingCMMs
andManual
tools to ensure they meet aerospace, nuclear, and defense standards.Responsibilities
Operate
CMMs
(PC-DMIS or CALYPSO) to inspect machined components PerformManual inspections
using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and height gauges Interpret engineering drawings and specifications Complete inspection reports and QA documentation Inspect tight-tolerance features (e.g., flatness, concentricity, perpendicularity) Visually inspect parts for defects or inconsistencies Work with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues Follow AS9100, ISO 9001:2008, and CSA Z299 standardsQualifications
5-10+ years experience inspecting tight-tolerance machined parts Strong knowledge of GD&T and shop math Experience with PC-DMIS or CALYPSO CMM software Familiar with AS9100 and CSA Z299 standards Ability to read blueprints and technical documents Experience inspecting gears and splines an asset
Must have
Legally eligible to work in Canada and currently residing in Canada Strong communication skills and attention to detail Clean Background Check required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
