About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

CMM Programmer

with a background in aerospace, automotive, or precision machining. The ideal candidate will have

4-5 years of experience

developing and optimizing inspection programs, with proficiency in

PC-DMIS and/or Calypso

software. If you are highly skilled in one platform, training will be provided on the other.

This role is responsible for creating and validating inspection programs, performing both in-process and final inspections, and ensuring compliance with tight tolerance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and standardize CMM programs for in-process and final inspections. Perform advanced manual inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.). Review technical drawings and specifications to establish inspection criteria. Lead and support First Article Inspection (FAI) processes. Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure compliance with quality standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support manufacturing quality. Research and integrate new inspection technologies where appropriate.

Qualifications

4-5 years of experience in CMM programming, ideally within aerospace, automotive, or precision machining. Proficiency with

PC-DMIS

and/or

Calypso

software (training provided if only experienced in one). Strong understanding of

GD&T

and close tolerance machining. Hands-on experience with manual inspection tools and gauges. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: $70,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
