About the role
WHAT WE'RE DOING
This position will be working out of our Trumbull, CT office and will be responsible for the cost, schedule, technical performance and contract close out of Acquisition and Set-up CLINS within the Canadian Maritime Helicopter Program.
THE WORK
Lead negotiations focused on contract close-out of the Acquisition and ISS Set-up CLINs. Leads the Strategy development and resulting business actions required to Close out the Set-up CLINs. These responsibility will include but are not limited to generating: proposals, business plans, statements of work and specifications, operating budgets and financial terms/conditions of contract. Acts as primary interface with our Canadian customers at DND and PSPC to negotiate closure of remaining requirements within the CMHP Setup CLINs to ensure continuity and support of sustainment program obligations and objectives. Specifically, the role will focus on remaining RFDs including Sea State 6, ESM/RWR, LH Torpedo Drop, OSRV, and Training Setup requirements. Leads program cross functional team and directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, contractual, financial, and administrative areas.
What you bring to the role
Expert knowledge and experience in Program Management disciplines; including (but not limited to) Contracts, Technical and Financial elements
Expert team building and conflict resolution skills
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
Risk Management, Earned Value Management (EVM) & Cost Account Management (CAM)
Experience leading large cross-functional teams
Well organized with a determined work ethic and positive attitude
Ability to obtain and hold a Canadian SECRET clearance
Additional skills desired for the role
Master's in Business Administration degree from an accredited university, or equivalent experience/combined education
Proposal Cost Estimating
Negotiation and Contract Management background
Strategy background
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications
Project or Program Management Certification
Excellent written, verbal communication skills
Holds a valid SECRET clearance
