Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bar. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Responsibilities
• Supervise and train bar staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to company standards.
• Manage inventory, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and conducting regular audits.
• Develop and implement creative drink menus that align with current trends while maintaining profitability.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
• Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
Requirements
• Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Familiarity with food preparation processes and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs.
