Paradigm Consulting Group is in an active growth phase and securing talented consultants is a critical component of our success. We are looking for Cloud Security Architect to join our team. The role will be based remotely for our customer who are in Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Kindly note candidates must reside in Canada to qualify.

Each requirement we receive varies, but the skillset may include:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5-10 years proven experience in a similar role
  • Minimum five years of cloud security experience in Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
  • Extensive experience required in O365/Azure Security Architecture (Experience should incorporate Azure AD (Identity Management), Microsoft Best Security Practice for Cloud, Understanding Microsoft Security & Compliance Components & Configuration)
  • Experience with Microsoft Advanced Security Stack (Azure Identity Protection, Azure ATP, Azure MFA, Microsoft Cloud App Security, O365 ATP, Defender ATP, Azure Sentinel) & Microsoft Information Protection solutions (WIP, AIP, labelling, classification, & DLP).
  • Proven experience in the provision of end-to-end secure cloud architectural solutions for systems and services
  • Previous architecting or engineering experience in security is advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of architecture \xe2\x80\x9cFirewall, Server, Networking, Security (IPS, DLP, AV, EDR etc.) various operating systems and databases, and a variety of middleware and communications platforms
  • Must possess advanced communication skills and be capable of translating complex technical solutions into business focused language
  • Must have strong organizational skills, be capable of working independently
Duties may include:
  • Review M365 / Exchange Hybrid/Azure Architecture and Deployment Plan to be in line with Microsoft recommended security practices to mitigate risk
  • Develop a security architecture that supports customer\'s Cloud architecture and implements proper security controls for M365 / Exchange Hybrid/Azure Architecture.
  • Build a security, compliance & governance layer on top of our Cloud architecture; these controls should align with Microsoft Security recommendation for O365/Azure as well detect and remediate new risk and vulnerabilities.
  • Need to be up-to-date on new secure methods & recommendations for Microsoft Cloud Architecture and third parties.
  • Manage/Support components such as Azure AD/Federation/E3-E5 O365 Security Components and recommend any additional components like Sentinel, Compliance, DLP, Security Center Recommendation etc.
  • Design secure Azure/O365 cloud-based solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements including, security, compliance and governance.
  • Manage additional components such as Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Data Loss Protection, Information Protection / Encryption, Authentication etc.
  • Analyze current security technologies used within the organization and identify opportunities to both improve and leverage in future designs.
  • Document, build architectural diagrams and monitor requirements needed to build enhanced security solutions/posture.
