Our client is beginning to adopt cloud for significant workloads and is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to help them through their journey and beyond. You are knowledgeable in networking, load balancing, DNS, and Azure Services. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong networking as well as some cloud skills that is looking to do more in the cloud.This is a permanent hybrid position (2 days per week in the office) located steps from Union Station.What Youxe2x80x99ll Be Doing

• Work with a team to implement and manage the cloud network infrastructure
• Assist in the design of reliable, scalable, high-performance features or components of the network in collaboration with other engineers
• Collaborate with Enterprise Risk Management and Audit team to support audit networking and connectivity requirements both on-premises and cloud perspective
• Collaborate with the Cloud Architect, Cloud Security and Cloud Automation architecture team
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert to offer guidance and input from a network infrastructure perspective
• Be responsible for the planning, implementation, and growth of the Azure network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, document with actions taken and future mitigation steps for both on-premises and azure network
• Ensure the cloud network is responsive to user demands
• Monitor the utilization, performance and availability of the cloud network infrastructure and its services

• 5 years of experience working in the IT field
• 2-5 years of experience in cloud network design/management, security, identity and access management, DNS, etc.
• Hands-on experience with some of the core Azure Data Platform services
• Expert knowledge in designing and deploying scalable, redundant hybrid networks of on- premise datacenters and Azure
• Knowledge and experience on BGP routing, Firewall policy, and layer 7 load balancing
• Experiences on Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Nexus, and F5 Big-I are assets
• Knowledge on developing infrastructure as code
