Then, watch for a unique link in your email to apply.The Cloud Engineer role within Pensions & Technology is responsible to develop, research, implement, provision and manage cloud-based infrastructure and services for Pensions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security of cloud solutions. Maintain Technology, Architecture for cloud inventory of Pension products and work on enhancing efficiency, reliability.Responsibilities:Collaborate with DevOps / SRE teams to ensure seamless deployment and management of cloud solutions, optimizing for performance, reliability, and scalabilityWork with Pensions Solution Architects to align cloud solutions with architectural designs and organizational requirementsCoordinate with Agile Delivery Leads / Scrum Masters or Project Managers to integrate agile processes effectively with cloud solutions, ensuring project goals are metCollaborate with Enterprise System/Cloud Engineering to ensure alignment with organizational standards and strategyEngage with Enterprise Network Teams to set up and manage network connections for cloud solutions securelyWork with Google & Microsoft Cloud Architects/Specialists to optimize the use of platform-specific featuresQualifications:2+ years as either SRE, DevOps or Cloud EngineerDeep Understanding of at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)In-depth knowledge of cloud services, such as compute, storage, and networkingExperience with cloud resource provisioning and managementMastery of IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. Advanced scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash)Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker. Understanding of container orchestration with KubernetesUnderstanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards. Identity and Access Management (IAM) in the cloud, including fine-grained permissionsUnderstanding of cloud monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor). Log analysis and management skills, including custom log queriesUnderstanding of serverless computing platforms (e.g., GCP Cloud Run, Azure Functions).Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. Experience with CI/CD pipeline design and management using tools like Jenkins, Travis CI, or GitLab CI/CDExperience in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
