:Our client is looking for a skilled Cloud Data Integration Engineer to join their growing Data Engineering team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance data integration pipelines while ensuring data quality and governance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate on-premises and cloud systems, optimize performance, and drive the adoption of best practices in data workflows.Responsibilities:

• Design and implement efficient data integration pipelines using Informatica tools to meet organizational needs.

• Integrate data quality, governance, and reference data management solutions with cloud systems, including data lakes and warehouses.

• Create and maintain data governance frameworks, including domains, data lineage, business glossaries, and compliance monitoring.

• Develop automated workflows to support metadata synchronization and governance processes.

• Troubleshoot and debug data mappings, workflows, and system integrations to ensure smooth operations.

• Perform unit, integration, and performance testing of data pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.

• Monitor and enhance the performance of data integration processes, addressing any scalability or reliability challenges.

• Apply dimensional modeling techniques to support data warehouse design and development.

• Manage tasks and document progress using tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Identify opportunities for architectural improvements to enhance the scalability and robustness of data platforms.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Informatica Data Integration, including tools such as PowerCenter.

• Must have xperience in data modeling, and data warehouse design and migration projects.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling techniques, and performance optimization.

• Informatica certifications in areas such as data quality and data governance.

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proficiency in ETL processes and tools, with expertise in data integration and governance.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data workflows.

Please note: This role would require a minimum of 3 days a week in-office. Remote workers will not be considered for this position.
