Job Overview - Cloud and Application Security Specialist
Ensures the secure design, deployment, and management of cloud environments and software applications.
Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain cloud security controls and baselines. Perform code review, static/dynamic testing, and vulnerability scans. Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps). Enforce identity, data protection, and encryption standards. Guide teams on secure coding and cloud best practices.
Requirements:
Experience:
3-6 years in cloud or app security.Education:
Bachelor's in Software Engineering, IT, or related field.Certifications:
Microsoft Azure Security Engineer (AZ?500), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, or CSSLP.Skills:
OWASP, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch.Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
