Ellis St Market is a locally owned, community-focused grocery store in the heart of downtown Kelowna. We offer a variety of fresh essentials, international goods, and an in-store eatery with made-to-order burgers, sandwiches, and daily specials. Position Overview:
We're looking for a reliable, flexible, and proactive
Closing Supervisor / Key Holder
to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking ownership of the store during evening hours.What You'll Do:
Oversee the store in the evening and ensure smooth daily closing operations Complete end-of-day procedures (till cash-outs, lock-up, cleanup) Receive and stock essential items (especially milk and dairy) Fill in at the eatery section as needed (basic food prep: burgers, sandwiches, wraps) Assist customers, restock shelves, and support a clean and organized environment Act as the go-to person when a manager is not present
What We're Looking For:
Grocery, retail, or food service experience preferred Comfortable multitasking and working independently Great attention to detail and strong communication skills Able to drive Forklift (can be trained) Able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on your feet during your shift Must be available evenings and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
