Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Trials Lab Technician to join our healthcare team. This role supports industry-sponsored clinical trials focused on dermatologic conditions by performing laboratory procedures, handling biological specimens, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical or research laboratory settings and a strong interest in dermatologic therapeutics.

Responsibilities



Collect, process, and store biological specimens (e.g., blood, urine, skin biopsies, swabs) according to study protocols. Organize lab kits according to study protocols Maintain accurate and detailed records of lab activities, sample tracking, and test results. Enter information into eCRF and manual CRF. Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), IRB protocols, and FDA regulations. Assist in the preparation of lab materials and documentation for audits and inspections. Collaborate with clinical coordinators, investigators, and sponsors to support trial operations. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and manage inventory of supplies. Participate in training and continuing education related to dermatology research and lab techniques. Provide administrative support and backup to the Junior CRC (recruiter)

Experience:



Required:

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Medical Technology, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting. Familiarity with clinical trial protocols and laboratory safety standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in data entry and laboratory information systems.
Preferred:

Experience in dermatology or skin-related research. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS). Successful completion of the Clinical Trials program at Seneca College or Humber College, with internship completed Knowledge of regulatory requirements for clinical trials (e.g., ICH-GCP) Successful completion of Phlebotomy Training
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.28-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
