Responsibilities
Our Clinical Therapists provide assessment and planning, treatment and intervention, and crisis management for clients. The Clinical Therapist carries out the general duties of the service team but in addition to those duties, participates in quality initiatives in the program of care, engages in collaborative person-centred care, and utilizes available information technology to support best practice. The Clinical Therapist receives and provides supervision and mentorship as part of a community of practice. It is an expectation that the Clinical Therapist will act in a professional and ethical manner, following all recognized codes of ethics, standards, legislation, and guidelines relevant to clinical practice and profession. They will convey respect and a solid understanding of subtle and complex diversity and inclusion issues as they relate to specific groups. Our various opportunities include child and youth, adult, community mental health, outreach, intake and other specialties within our Mental Health & Addictions teams.

Qualifications
