The KFHT is currently recruiting a Clinical Therapist to join our mental health team. We are looking to fill part-time and full-time position (s).

Position scope may include:
Provide direct counseling, therapeutic interventions and education and to individuals, couples, families and children
Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
Design individualized treatment plans based on presenting concerns
Develop and facilitate groups
Function as an effective member of a multidisciplinary health care team
Liaise with client's community agencies and service providers
Qualifications
Registered Psychotherapist, Registered Social Worker or Masters Social Work
Have a minimum of two years providing direct clinical counselling/therapy
Hold current and sufficient professional liability insurance in Ontario
Specialization clinical preferred
Experience
Experience in a primary care mental health setting preferred
Experience working with a multidisciplinary health care team preferred
Experienced working with clients from assessment to termination, formulating and implementing treatment plans with defined goals is an asset.
Familiarity and comfort dealing with:
Training and familiarity with evidence-based practice models/theories such as: cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, crisis prevention and intervention, addictions counselling theories and others
