Working closely with the Director of Clinical Compliance, this role provides clinical oversight, guidance, and hands-on support to Health and Wellness teams. The Clinical Support Specialist helps ensure high-quality, compliant, and person-centered care while supporting teams to grow, innovate, and succeed.

Wage Rate



The starting annual salary is $80,000.

Responsibilities:



Partner with Health and Wellness Managers, General Managers, and Support Office teams to support consistent, high-quality clinical practices across all communities Provide leadership and oversight for PointClickCare (PCC), including assessments, care plans, resident records, and eMAR Support and drive Select Care services by reviewing assessments and care plans to ensure services are delivered appropriately and revenue is captured accurately Lead and support Infection Prevention and Control (IPAC) practices in collaboration with Public Health and pharmacy partners Oversee Unregulated Care Provider (UCP) program compliance Support the rollout and optimization of new or updated clinical systems, tools, and programs Deliver education and training within scope of practice (e.g., PCC, eMAR, policies, influenza protocols) Monitor compliance with applicable legislation and internal company policies Provide coaching, guidance, and practical support to clinical leaders to strengthen performance and confidence Travel regularly to communities across Western Ontario, Eastern Ontario, and the GTA

Qualifications:

A confident and collaborative clinical leader who balances compassion with accountability Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (RN or RPN) 2-3 years of management experience in the retirement home sector, preferably in small to medium-sized communities Strong knowledge of retirement home legislation and standards, including RHRA, CNO, and related regulations High proficiency with PointClickCare and eMAR Experience with budgets, revenues, and service optimization Experience working with IPAC programs and Public Health Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Comfort with technology and learning new systems Clear vulnerable sector screen, TB test results, and supervisory references Must possess an Ontario Driver's License and the ability and willingness to travel within Ontario regularly Ability to work in a flexible environment to meet the needs of the residents, including weekend and holiday coverage, as required
