About the role
As a
Clinical Supervisor
, you will provide supervision, training, and support to the clinical staff under the direction of the Manager of Partnerships and Operations. You will also manage a small caseload, demonstrating excellence in clinical practice. You will be overseeing new and innovative programs added to PAARC so relationship building with community partners is key.
We are hiring for one (1) full time, permanent role working at our head office on Dixie Road (Mississauga), within the community and at our partner locations.

What you'll do
Supervisory:
Assist in the recruitment and selection of clinical staff
Provide orientation, regular supervision, and ongoing evaluation to clinical staff
Maintain high standards of clinical practice and professional conduct within the team
Ability to supervise staff who are not onsite and/or are community based workers. Certain staff may be performing shift work including evenings and weekends.
Clinical:
Conduct assessments, case management, and supportive counselling.
Ensure meticulous documentation of clinical work, including case notes and reports.
Organizational Support and Administration
Develop, build and maintain partnerships with multiple community partners and collaborate with them to build new programs
Maintain effective communication and relationships with community groups, agency teams and all PAARC employees
Participate in meetings and committees as required and assist in program and organizational planning
Prepare and deliver professional presentations to the community.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline.
2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in the not for profit sector, with extensive clinical experience.
Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of substance use philosophies, with strong skills in crisis management and case management.
Superior command of English and strong verbal communication skills.
Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the community as needed.
Working Conditions
Office environment and community-based settings.
35-hour work week; Mon to Fri 8:30 am- 4:30 pm with the expectation of additional hours outside of the standard work week as required, including evenings and weekends.

66,681 - 72,864 CAD per year(Dixie Road)
