OBJECTIF PRINCIPAL DU POSTE


Soutenir le developpement clinique et l'education, gerer l'inventaire et l'equipement, ainsi que les programmes de formation des clients lies aux produits et technologies des divisions CRM (Gestion du Rythme Cardiaque) et CAS (Solutions d'Ablation Cardiaque) de Medtronic. Appuyer la mise en oeuvre des politiques et procedures et participer a tous les aspects de la prise de decision clinique et operationnelle lies aux programmes de l'unite organisationnelle. Former et eduquer les investigateurs/clients sur l'utilisation appropriee des produits et technologies de ces deux divisions.


MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB


Support the clinical development and education, manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs pertinent to Medtronic defined products and technology. Support the implementation of policies and procedures and participate in all facets of clinical and operational decision-making pertaining to the programs of the organizational unit. Train and educate investigators/customers on proper use of the Medtronic product and technology.

PRINCIPALES TACHES/RESPONSABILITES DU POSTE

Realise des formations ou consultations sur site. Soutient le personnel sur le terrain pour offrir les meilleurs resultats et services possibles aux clients de Medtronic. Collabore avec les collegues des ventes pour developper et executer des plans de vente pour une ou plusieurs unites commerciales. Participe a des congres, forums et reunions pour accroitre la notoriete des produits. Travaille en etroite collaboration avec le responsable clinique, la direction clinique et l'equipe regionale des ventes pour fournir un soutien aux cas clients et aux ventes. Identifie et facilite l'execution des opportunites de croissance avec l'equipe de soutien clinique et des ventes. Sert de ressource technique pour soutenir la vente d'un produit ou d'une solution medicale specifique. Responsable de la declaration des plaintes et des reactions indesirables aux medicaments (ADR). Fournit leadership et orientation dans tous les aspects de l'etablissement, de la mise en oeuvre, de la promotion et de l'administration des activites de formation clinique, y compris l'evaluation, la planification des programmes, la communication, le developpement des competences cliniques et le soutien educatif. Developpe et execute des programmes de formation clinique visant a ameliorer les competences des utilisateurs. Cultive des relations etroites avec les partenaires commerciaux strategiques, y compris tous les centres de formation et leaders d'opinion. Assure la formation des nouveaux employes sur les produits, technologies et materiaux. Aide a developper les objectifs et les programmes de marketing et de vente des produits de l'entreprise. Fournit une expertise infirmiere et/ou medicale dans le developpement, la mise en oeuvre, les rapports de cas, les articles de journaux et les rapports cliniques des cliniciens. Planifie, dirige et coordonne des ateliers educatifs, ainsi que d'autres programmes, evenements et activites (maintient le contact avec les clients pour evaluer leurs besoins cliniques et educatifs). Collabore avec d'autres departements pour etablir les priorites de l'entreprise, le developpement de nouveaux produits et la satisfaction des clients. Exigences en matiere de rapport de formation (toute activite de soutien clinique et de formation doit etre documentee). Realise des revues mensuelles d'activites avec le RSM et le SPM.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES



CONNAISSANCES/FORMATION



Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent (GED) Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC), ou Baccalaureat Un baccalaureat et inscription actuelle a un programme de certification d'une ecole de stimulation cardiaque comme ATI ou PrepMD.

EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE



Minimum de 6 ans d'experience dans le domaine de la sante ou de l'ingenierie, avec un diplome d'etudes secondaires ou GED, ou Minimum de 4 ans d'experience dans le domaine de la sante ou de l'ingenierie, avec un diplome collegial, ou Minimum de 2 ans d'experience dans le domaine de la sante ou de l'ingenierie, avec un baccalaureat, ou Minimum de 3 ans d'experience professionnelle, avec un baccalaureat et inscription actuelle a un programme de certification d'une ecole de stimulation cardiaque comme ATI ou PrepMD.

QUALIFICATIONS SOUHAITEES/PREFEREES



EXPERIENCE PROFESSIONNELLE



Une formation en enseignement infirmier serait un atout. Minimum de 5 ans d'experience en vente et/ou marketing dans le domaine de la sante. Bonne connaissance du systeme de sante (niveau national, provincial et/ou regional). Experience dans le domaine des dispositifs medicaux.

Capacite a rester calme sous pression. Competences en planification strategique. Solides competences en communication. Connaissance avancee des principes, methodes et procedures infirmiers et/ou medicaux. Capacite a developper, mettre en oeuvre et evaluer des methodologies de formation clinique et des outils d'evaluation. Capacite a organiser, prioriser et planifier les taches. Connaissance pratique des principes et techniques de resolution de conflits et de mediation. Doit posseder un permis de conduire valide sans restrictions. Bilingue francais/anglais.

EXIGENCES PHYSIQUES DU POSTE



Deplacements requis pour la formation, les evenements clients, les symposiums, les activites sur le terrain et la couverture de cas. Des deplacements en dehors des heures normales peuvent etre requis pour la couverture de cas et/ou les activites sur le terrain. Les specialistes cliniques doivent etre presents dans leur territoire assigne chaque jour pour repondre aux besoins imprevus. Ils doivent egalement travailler certains week-ends et jours feries chaque trimestre, selon les directives de la direction locale. Deplacements requis de 50 a 60 % de la semaine de travail. Les exigences physiques decrites dans la section Responsabilites de cette description de poste representent celles que doit satisfaire un employe pour accomplir les fonctions essentielles du poste. Serves as a technical resource to support sales of a specific medical product or solution.*
Responsible for reporting complaints and Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR)*

Provide leadership and direction in all aspects of the establishment, implementation, promotion, and administration of the clinical education activities, to include assessment, curriculum planning, communications and clinical skills development, and educational support


Develop and execute clinical education programs designed to enhance user competencies Cultivate close relationships with strategic business partners, including all training centers and opinion leaders Provides new employee training on products, technology and materials Assist in developing objectives, and programs for marketing and selling the Company's products Provides nursing and/or medical expertise in the development, implementation, and case reports, journal articles and clinical reports from clinicians Plan, direct, and coordinate educational workshops, and other programs, events, and activities (Maintain contact with customers to evaluate their clinical and educational needs) Work with other departments to establish priorities for the Company direction, new product development, and customer satisfaction Education reporting requirements (Must document all clinical support and education) Conduct Monthly Business Reviews with RSM & SPM

JOB EXPERIENCE

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS


Travel required for training, customer events, symposia, field activities and case coverage On-call and travelling after hours may be required for case coverage and/or field related activities Clinical Specialists are required to be within their assigned territory each day to be available as unscheduled needs arise. CS's are required to work a number of weekend and holidays during the quarter, as determined by local management.
