Here is what you will do
VitalAire is currently recruiting an energetic and motivated Clinical Sleep Assistant for our Clarenville branch (temporary, part-time contract; 20 hours/week). The Clinical Sleep Assistant facilitates the administrative aspects, and offers support in the storefront area as it pertains to CPAP therapy in a specific branch location, or a site under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

• Encourages and obeys safety procedures and policies.
• Completes preventive maintenance for equipment
• Liaises with medical professionals to provide information/demonstrations to prospective clients
• Provides support for staff by performing daily office duties
• Provides friendly and helpful service to customers
• Assists with sales and maintenance of CPAP inventory for the branch
• Participates in the completion of in-home testing for diagnosis within the supervision of a healthcare professional.
• Assists healthcare professionals with the completion of necessary processes and forms
• Assists with the cleaning and maintenance of CPAP equipment during in-service visits to clients
• Prepares funding documents and maintains knowledge of funding systems
• Continuously improve operations by participating in quality improvement activities.

• College Certificate or Diploma in Medical Office Administration or medical background preferred.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office, ERP & Google systems with strong data entry skills and selling skills.
• 1-2 years of experience in general office practice
• Agreeing to disclose your COVID-19 vaccination status, as a condition of employment.
• Agreeing to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and to maintain such fully vaccinated status, as a condition of employment.
