POSITION DESCRIPTION:



This term clinician assignment will commence March 17, 2025 to June 27, 2025 or one day prior to the return of the clinician being


replaced, whichever occurs first. Consideration may be given to split the position.




The Speech-Language Pathologist position is under the Teachers' Collective Agreement and will follow the school calendar.




Under the leadership and supervision of the Director of Inclusion and Clinical Services and the Supervisor of Developmental


Supports, the Speech-Language Pathologist will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team in the Inclusion and Clinical


Services Department of the Louis Riel School Division. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work collaboratively with school


and program-based teams to support and promote student learning. The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide services


including assessments, programming and therapeutic interventions and consultative services within the primary, secondary and


tertiary levels of intervention service delivery model in the Louis Riel School Division.


REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
o

Must be eligible for or in possession of a current School Clinician Certificate (Speech-Language Pathology)
o

Must be a current member in good standing of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba


(CASLPM)
o

Must be able to work in a collaborative manner with school personnel and parents
o

Bilingual (French/English) would be an asset
o

Excellent technology skills in order to complete all on-line recording and reporting requirements
o

Valid drivers' license and vehicle required
