RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
This is a one-year, full-time position with the possibility for renewal pending available funds and agreement. The coordinator, under the supervision of Dr. Jonathon Campbell and Dr. Dick Menzies, will be part of a research team evaluating the economic burden of respiratory illnesses, conducting cost assessment for tuberculosis infection as part of an ongoing randomized clinical trial, and conducting infectious disease modelling and economic evaluation related to tuberculosis. The coordinator will have the opportunity to write academic publications and other dissemination materials, as well as participate in data collection and analysis.

The expected start date is flexible but is expected to be July 20, 2023.

General Duties

• Coordinate research projects,
• Contribute to the development of ethics applications and data collection,
• Review and evaluate research findings, analyse results, prepare reports, dissemination materials, and manuscripts,
• Present research at national and international conferences,
• Contribute to the scientific and intellectual content of projects and research grant applications.

Education: Bachelor\'s Degree
Field of Study: Science (Epidemiologublic Health, Global Health, or related discipline)
Other education considered an asset for this position: Infectious disease experience.

• Excellent English, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook),
• Familiarity with statistical programs (e.g., R),
• Respects policies and procedures,

Additional information

Status: Temporary Full-Time (35-hour workweek)
Pay Scale: $42,260.40 to $78,460.20, commensurate with education & work experience.
Work Shift: 5 days per week
