Clinical Pharmacy Specialists play a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Their responsibilities include:
Patient-Centered Care
: CPS professionals conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor therapeutic outcomes, and provide tailored medication management plans.
Collaboration
: They work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to integrate pharmaceutical care into patient treatment plans, ensuring optimal drug therapies and minimizing adverse drug events.
Education and Training
: Clinical Pharmacy Specialists educate patients about their medications, promote adherence, and adjust treatment plans based on patient responses.
Clinical Research
: They often engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance medication-use processes and pharmacy practice

- Fluency in Prescription Entry, Adjudication and Filling.

Knowledge of Computer System (Fillware, Kroll or Nexxys)
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
Administration:
- Process manual billing and specialty prescriptions (ex. Glucometers, spacers)
- Fill out appropriate third parties audit paperwork and fax.
- Process weekly dossette batch.
- Answer telephone, ensuring that telephone etiquette is observed at all times
- Generate various reports as required.
- Prepare and match invoices where required.
- Manage administrative tasks as required.
Inventory Management:
-Perform inventory management, under the direction of the Pharmacist.
- Managing out of stocks/back orders.
- Perform cycle counts.
- Regular replenishment of pharmacy drugs and supplies.
- Removal and return of expired products and recalls.
Professional duties:
- Provide support and assistance to the pharmacy manager as required.
- Maintain professional image (dress code) and conduct at all times.
- Ensure all loss prevention systems and procedures are performed according to established standards.

Pay: $50.00-$60.00 per hour

OCP Pharmacy License (required)
