The Clinical Operation Lead works in a 24/7 clinic setting and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and compliant healthcare services. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Conduct comprehensive triage assessments of new admissions [primary & secondary], identifying urgent medical, mental health, and infectious disease concerns.
Monitor and manage acute and chronic health conditions, ensuring prompt interventions and initiating emergency protocols when necessary.
Facilitate timely referrals and coordination of external care, including arranging hospital transfers, specialty consultations, and follow-up services, ensuring secure and appropriate transportation.
Provides an active leadership role within the clinician team [RN, physician, psychologist, psychiatrist, Nurse Practitioners, Social workers] for the delivery of safe, high-quality evidence-based care, and to create and implement individualized care plans.
Participate in daily roving meetings to provide health updates and support coordinated decision-making regarding patient care and facility operations.
Supports in the management of medical supplies/equipment and clinical practice budget in coordination with employee continuous education and loyalty bonus.
Provide on-going training, motivation, and support to newly hired and established staff.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or Masters in a health-related field is preferred, however, a BScN or Masters in progress may be considered if it is in conjunction with other required skills, abilities, and experience.
Current registration with a Canadian Provincial/Territorial nursing regulatory body (i.e., College of Nurses of Ontario- CNO).
Minimum five to seven years of healthcare experience.
Minimum of three to five years in a team Lead or Supervisor capacity is an asset.
Experience in a corporate or operational role related to health care or health service delivery is considered an asset.
