Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Office Assistant to join our team at Mayfair Care Centre. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support in a medical office environment, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service. This role requires proficiency in various medical software systems and a strong understanding of medical terminology.

Responsibilities



Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy. Schedule appointments and manage the handi bus calendar effectively to optimize patient flow. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review care plans and assist in the preparation of medical documentation for admission purposes. Utilize Point Click Care systems such as POC, EMAR. Provide clerical support including filing, typing, and data entry using Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel). Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient communication regarding patient care needs. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized office environment to enhance patient experience.

Requirements



Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, and health information management is essential. Proficiency in using Point Click Care systems (POC, EMAR) is highly desirable. Strong computer skills including typing proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to enhance patient communication. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction and support. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and filing tasks. Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
