Responsibilities

You would be joining a medical care team in a busy physician's office. We already have a full time nutritionist and you will be working with them to expand the current program. Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized meal plans. You will be working with individuals with various goals including weight management, diabetics, high triglycerides, PCOS, etc Maintain accurate electronic medical records to track patient progress. Provide education on dietary choices and healthy eating habits. Communicate effectively with patients, ensuring understanding of nutritional guidelines. Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate nutrition into overall patient care. Deliver excellent customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.

Summary

As a Clinical Nutritionist, you will be instrumental in promoting optimal health and wellness through personalized nutrition plans. Reporting to the Health Services Manager, you will utilize your core skills in nutrition assessment and dietary planning to support patients in achieving their health goals. Your proficiency in electronic medical records will enhance patient interactions and ensure accurate documentation. If you do not have experience with EMRs, we will provide full training. Additionally, your relevant skills in customer service and computer operation will facilitate effective collaboration within our healthcare team, ultimately contributing to improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.

General

4 days per week, expandable to 5 days per week

- 9 am - 5 pm ( Monday & Tuesday ) or 10 am - 6 pm ( Wednesday and Thursday ); 9 am - 4:40 pm if you wish to add Friday at a future date

Salary: From $19.00 per hour
