Clinical Nurse Specialist, CDC Programs
Salary:
$107,671 - $134,889 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract:
Permanent PT 0.5 FTE
Hours:
18.5 Hours, Monday - Friday
Location:
Sinclair - Downtown Vancouver. Hybrid, (50% in office). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after Summer 2027

About the role
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Programs you will lead the provision of expert nursing care by functioning as a clinical leader within the specialty area. This position utilizes advanced and in-depth knowledge and skills, clinical expertise, and advanced judgment in the specialty area to support, consult, educate and facilitate system change. The Clinical Nurse Specialist provides leadership in development of clinical guidelines and protocols.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have;
Education
Master's Degree in Nursing from a recognized university with acceptable specialization in specific area of practice is required.
BCCNP Designation as a Practicing RN
Successful completion of approved public health nursing or CDC training or program
Experience
Five years of public and/or community health nursing experience, including three years of nursing experience in area of specialty
Teaching and presenting to large and small groups of adult learners
Working with groups to identify and address public health issues specific to TB/Surveillance
