As an integral member of the WRHN leadership team, the Clinical Manager embraces, promotes and models the mission, vision and values of the WHRN Corporation through compassionate care, collaboration, a focus on quality and innovation, positive attitude, professionalism, and respect. Reporting to the Program Director, the Clinical Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of their patient care unit(s) to meet the objectives of the WRHN strategic and operating plans. In collaboration with the program leadership team, the Clinical Manager ensures alignment within and across programs. As a member of the leadership group you will support patient flow initiatives. Working closely with the interdisciplinary team you will foster an environment of respectful collaboration and teamwork. The Clinical Manager ensures excellence in care provision through a focus on quality, safety and effectiveness of care delivery, development of effective processes and monitoring of utilization and financial performance within her/his portfolio. The Clinical Manager tracks, monitors and reports significant variances, emerging themes, key issues, threats and proposed strategies to address identified issues.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in a Health Profession required, preferably nursing, with current registration in good standing with the Regulatory College of your discipline required;
1-3 years of previous experience in a leadership role in healthcare or related experience in a leadership role preferred.
Quality management and program evaluation;
Strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills;
Financial acumen and human resource management;
High ability to lead teams and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team(s);
Solid ability to manage a diversified workload with rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines;
Flexibility, a self-directed approach and ability to multi-task;
Superior interpersonal and leadership skills and abilities, including communication, responsiveness, conflict resolution, change management, organizational skills, effective judgment and customer service, critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving;
Coach, mentor, support, and facilitate the maintenance of a healthy workplace environment that fosters creativity, and professional judgment;
Ability to diffuse conflict and foster respectful and collaborative working relationships required;
Computer proficiency (Microsoft word, e-mail, internet etc.);
Good Attendance Record
